EATX · Assembly Guide

For wider motherboards, verify actual board width and mounting holes first.

General workflow draft, not a validated EATX-specific assembly manual. Follow the manual supplied with your case. Model-specific diagrams and fastener details are pending.

STEP 01

Prepare and check

Disconnect power and lay out the parts on a clean surface. Check frame parts, brackets, fasteners and tools against the packing list. Do not mix screw lengths.

STEP 02

Pre-assemble the frame

Use the model-specific manual to identify top, bottom, front and rear. Loosely assemble and align the frame before tightening as instructed. Connection diagrams and screw specifications are pending.

STEP 03

Plan the board and cooler

Match standoffs to the actual motherboard mounting holes and remove unused standoffs. Check cooler, memory and GPU clearance, then follow the component manuals to determine assembly order.

STEP 04

Plan PSU and GPU mounting

Check PSU and GPU orientation and brackets. Support heavy components during installation rather than placing their weight on connectors. Confirm bracket and riser compatibility for vertical mounting.

STEP 05

Connect and route cables

Connect power and front-panel cables according to the motherboard and PSU manuals. Do not mix modular cables from different PSUs. Secure cables clear of fan blades.

STEP 06

Check before powering on

Remove loose screws, tools and stray metal parts. Check frame and component mounting, power connectors and fan clearance. Stop and contact support if anything interferes or appears abnormal.
